Practice Times

Monday and Friday 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday 7.15 to 9.15 p.m. Please note that on Wednesdays, there is no entry to the building until the gymnastics club has vacated it.

We welcome all who wish to practise in a friendly environment, aspire to keep an open mind and protect the well-being of their practice partners.

The first and third Wednesdays of every month are weapons training sessions.

There are occasional courses with visiting teachers at which all are welcome.

The Club is the last building on the left (an industrial unit) and the entrance door is straight ahead of the gate.

Cost and Equipment

Classes cost £5 (£3 unwaged).

You don't need specific clothing or equipment — start in comfortable activity clothing such as Tshirt and tracksuit trousers, without zips or pockets that might hurt you to roll on or scratch someone else in close contact. Later, you may want to buy a gi (traditional practice clothes), available through the club for about £15.

Information for beginners
